The information below is for the most recent edition of the BSE Summer Forum Workshop on Policy Evaluation in Health (2023).
The aim of the workshop is to explore the impact of public policies on health outcomes. Papers that analyze either the short or the long term impact of the introduction of a public policy on health outcomes are particularly encouraged. Some examples of policies include: labor market reforms, immigration laws, education or pension changes and some examples of outcomes include mortality, health behaviors, hospitalizations, incidence of diseases, etc. Papers related to the COVID-19 pandemic are welcomed as well as papers with a gender perspective.
