The Barcelona School of Economics is an internationally leading institution for scientific cooperation for research and graduate education in Economics and the Social Sciences. The School offers a wide range of professionally- and academically- orientated graduate degrees in Economics and Data Science; the third edition of the BSE Master’s in Data Science will begin in September 2016.
As part of the broader research and training agenda on Data Science, BSE has developed consistent links with the business sector in Barcelona and has agreed collaborations with companies such as Accenture, Telefonica, Indra Business, King, Banc Sabadell, Bluecap, La Caixa, Kernel Analytics, FNA, Synergic Partners, TSS and Ulabox, as well as non-profit organizations and institutions.
The Ramón Areces Foundation is a privately-funded non-profit institution focusing since its creation on the patronage of science through the fostering of research, contributing to the generation of human capital and the dissemination of knowledge in three specific areas: life sciences, social sciences and humanities. In the sphere of Social Sciences, the Foundation backs projects which seek solutions to the main challenges that will be faced by modern society in the future: economic, educational, institutional, together with those related to development.
