The BSE Career Services team supports Master's students throughout the academic year to help them land their first job after graduating. They organize numerous events including Career Day, Recruitment Talks, and Alumni Panels. Career Consultant at BSE, Alba Salas, commented "We offer a wide range of initiatives to our students, which helps to prepare them for the job market and introduces them to well-known organizations. We are very proud to see how the Class of 2023 has found excellent professional opportunities so soon after graduating."
BSE Career Services invite numerous organizations to talk directly to students about the job opportunities available. Last year this included, Deloitte, the European Investment Bank (EIB), the International Monetary Fund (IMF), J-PAL, and The World Bank, who all gave recruiter talks to students. A graduate of the Economics of Public Policy Master's program, Inés Torres Rojas, pointed out that the first time she heard of her current employer was in a BSE Recruitment Talk. She explained that the BSE Career Services team provided the first contact for her with her current employer and that applying for the role was easy through the BSE Career Portal.
“The first time I heard about J-PAL, the institution I currently work for, was in one of the BSE Recruitment Talks. I highly recommend other BSE students to take advantage of the excellent support offered by the Career Services team.”
