New Systemic Risk and Prudential Policy course added to BSE continuing education offer

In May 2012, professionals in the world of risk assessment will have a unique opportunity to come to Barcelona for a four-day continuing education course on Systemic Risk and Prudential Policy. Under the guidance of top experts, participants will explore state-of-the-art research on systemic risk and its implications for micro and macro prudential regulation. Special attention will be devoted to illustrate the practical regulatory policy implications along with the main empirical findings.

Abuse of Dominance course returns for second edition

In addition to the Systemic Risk and Prudential Policy course, the BSE is offering the second edition of it course on Competition Economics: Abuse of Dominance. The course is directed by Prof. Giulio Federico (Chief Economist Team, DG-Competition, European Commission) and Prof. Massimo Motta (ICREA-UPF and BSE) and is ideal for academics and professionals who deal with competition policy and regulation. This course will take place from March 21-24, 2012 and will continue to accept applications until all places are filled.
