The BSE Summer Forum Workshop on Economy-wide Market Power will take place on June 7, 2022.

We are regularly checking safety regulations related to the COVID-19 pandemic. If an in-person event is not possible, this workshop will be held online.

How does market power affect labor market outcomes? This workshop invites papers on market power in the goods market and monopsony power in the labor market, with particular emphasis on the macroeconomic implications. Work on the intersection of macro/labor and IO and both theoretical and empirical contributions fit in the theme of this conference.
