Nine new affiliated professors join BSE community
In the 2011-2012 academic year, the BSE welcomes 9 new affiliated professors, who join the community as faculty of the School's founding academic bodies. With these new incorporations, the affiliated faculty now includes 149 academics from 24 different countries, with 44% coming from outside Spain.
The research interests of this year's new academics include Corporate Finance, Labor Economics, Public Policy, Time-series Econometrics, and a variety of others. They have earned their doctoral degrees from institutions such as the University of Pennsylvania, the London School of Economics, and Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Some have professional experience at the International Monetary Fund or the United States Federal Reserve, while others have conducted research at the Center for Economic Performance (London) or NYU Stern.
The nine new BSE Affiliated Professors come from five different countries: France, Italy, Romania, Saudi Arabia, and Spain (including Catalonia and other regions).
