Ruben Durante is ICREA Research Professor at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) and an Affiliated Professor of the Barcelona School of Economics (BSE), currently on leave as Professor of Economics at the National University of Singapore (NUS). He is Research Advisor at Gallup, Research Affiliate of the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), and Research Fellow of CESifo and IZA. He has served as associate editor for the Journal of the European Economic Association and the European Economic Review, and as member of the editorial panel of Economic Policy.
Professor Durante studies Political Economy with a focus on the functioning and impact of traditional and new media in democratic societies. His work has been published in top journals in economics, political science, and management, and is regularly featured in the press.
