Jack Jewson is a post-doctoral research assistant at UPF and BSE. Before moving to Barcelona, Jewson received his PhD in statistics from the University of Warwick as part of the Oxford-Warwick OxWaSP PhD program for Big Data. He works with Professor David Rossell on the frontier between Bayesian statistics and Machine Learning. His particular interests are in Bayesian methodology for challenging data problems, with specific emphasis on model misspecification, robustness and loss functions.
